MoMentum — AI Meeting Minutes Generator

Overview

MoMentum converts meeting recordings into professional meeting documentation. Users upload an audio recording, video or transcript, and the platform generates structured Minutes of Meeting — executive summary, detailed summary, decisions, action items, unresolved questions, sentiment analysis and a searchable transcript — exportable to PDF and DOCX.

How it works

Speech is transcribed locally with faster-whisper, then a four-agent LangGraph workflow takes over:

• Editor Agent — cleans the raw transcript, corrects punctuation and improves readability while preserving the original meaning.
• Analyst Agent — detects the meeting type, generates executive and detailed summaries, identifies discussion topics and tracks sentiment.
• Note-Taker Agent — extracts action items, captures decisions, detects unresolved questions and assigns owners and priorities.
• Executive Assistant Agent — merges the outputs, validates the structured information and formats the final minutes.

Key engineering decisions

Running speech recognition locally rather than in the cloud removes transcription API costs and keeps sensitive recordings on the user's own device. Every AI-generated insight is linked back to its exact timestamp in the recording, so any decision or action item can be verified against what was actually said. Structured schema validation, automatic retries, deterministic fallbacks and business-rule validation reduce hallucinations and support production use.
